NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
August 3, 2010
The Regular Meeting of the Webster Parish Police Jury will be held as follows:
DATE:                 TUESDAY, August 3, 2010
TIME:                  10:30 A.M.
PLACE OF MEETING:                2nd FLOOR POLICE JURY MEETING ROOM

PUBLIC HEARING: To hear comments concerning the adoption of Webster Parish Ordinance # 994 – Commercial Vehicle Ordinance.

CALL TO ORDER:
 
 
1.                    Additions to the agenda.
 
2.                    Adopt the minutes from the July 6, 2010 Administrative Committee Meeting, the July 6, Road Committee Meeting, and the July 6, 2010 Regular Meeting. 
 
3.                   Approve invoices for payment: Monday August 9,  2010

4.                   Appoint  Regina Brunson as Justice of the Peace for the Heflin District to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Larry Toland Sr. until a special election can be held.
 
5.                    To call for a special election on April 2, 2010 to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Larry Toland Sr., Justice of the Peace for the Heflin District .
 
6.                   Report of the 2009 Financial Audit of the Webster Parish Police Jury and it’s component units, Mrs. Margie Williamson, CPA- Allen Green and Williamson.
 
7.                    Appointment to the Board of the Webster Parish Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to fill the unexpired term of Mrs. E Jay Colvin that will expire on December 31, 2011:
Mrs. Mary McKinney, Sibley.
 
8.                   Resolution to amend and expand the boundaries of the Shongaloo Fire Protection District #9.
 
9.                   To adopt Webster Parish Ordinance #994 concerning Commercial Vehicle use in Webster Parish.
 
10.                 Budget Amendments 2nd Quarter 2010 WPPJ
