MINUTES OF THE ROAD COMMITTEE MEETING

WEBSTER PARISH POLICE JURY

December 1, 2015

MEMBERS:  Steve Ramsey, Chairman; Steve Lemmons, Vice Chairman; Jim Bonsall, Vera Davison, Jerri Lee, Charles Odom, Bruce Blanton, Randy Thomas, Perry Kirkland, Daniel Thomas, and Allen Gilbert.

MEMBER ABSENT:  Dorthy Walker

Mr. Steve Ramsey called the meeting to order and asked for additions to the agenda.

Mr. Steve Lemmons, moved, seconded by Mr. Perry Kirkland to add to the agenda, 5.  Municipality Funding for the Town of Sibley.  Motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Jerri Lee moved, seconded by Mr. Perry Kirkland to approve the Christmas break for the Public Works department:  Use of annual leave and holiday leave:

December 23, 2015 through January 1, 2016 returning to work on January 4, 2016.

Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Allen Gilbert moved, seconded by Mr. Bruce Blanton to approve a Resolution from the Town of Cullen to deliver 5 loads of SB-2 and 1 load of Cold Mix using municipality funding.  Motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Jerri Lee moved, seconded by Mr. Steve Lemmons to approve a Resolution to pay for striping on the Mason Felts and North Main Street using Municipality Funding.  Motion carried unanimously.

No action taken on the Sarepta Resolution. 

Mr. Daniel Thomas moved, seconded by Mr. Perry Kirkland to approve a Resolution from the Town of Sibley.  Motion carried unanimously. 

There being no further business to bring before the committee the meeting adjourned.
