WEBSTER PARISH POLICE JURY

SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

December 14, 2015    10:30 A.M.

MEMBERS:  Jim Bonsall; Steve Ramsey, Jerri Lee, Bruce Blanton, Randy Thomas, Perry Kirkland, and Vera Davison,

MEMBERS ABSENT:  Dorthy Walker, Charles Odom, Allen Gilbert, Daniel Thomas, and Steve Lemmons

Mr. Jim Bonsall called the meeting to order and asked Mrs. Jerri Lee to open the meeting with prayer.  Mr. Bonsall then led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Bonsall asked for additions to the agenda.  Mr. Steve Ramsey moved, seconded by Mr. Perry Kirkland to add to the agenda, 5. Municipality funding for the Town of Sibley.  Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Bruce Blanton moved, seconded by Mr. Randy Thomas to call for an election to fill the vacancy in Constable, JP District #1 of the Parish of Webster.  Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Perry Kirkland moved, seconded by Mrs. Jerri Lee to approve the low bid for the WPPJ Courthouse HVAC Replacement, RRAC Contractors, Inc. - $1,161,000.00.  Motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Jerri Lee moved, seconded by Mr. Randy Thomas to approve the following Resolutions of Support for application for LGAP assistance:

a.  Union Grove Water System to replace old water service mains on the William Brown Road $18,000.00.

b.  Germantown Water System to replace 3,000 feet (approx..) of 4” water main.  $30,000.00

c.  Stateline Waterwor4ks to upgrade the Booster Plant.  $30,000.00

Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Steve Ramsey moved, seconded by Ms. Vera Davison to approve the budget of the North Louisiana Crime Lab as presented.  Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Steve Ramsey moved, seconded by Mr. Perry Kirkland to approve the use of Sibley Municipality funding for $230.00 to the purchase of a mower for Town right of way and the balance of the municipality funding for the purchase of a bucket for existing equipment to clean up right of way.  Motion carried unanimously.
